Do I need to be an artist to use your resources?
Not at all! Whether you're a total beginner or someone returning to creativity after years away, or supporting a creative child, my resources are designed to gently guide you. You'll find encouragement, simple instructions, and space to grow—no fancy art degree required.
Is there an age range for these materials? Can anyone use them?
All materials are tailored for anyone ages fifteen and up and what we consider PG, or, very family friendly. However, some concepts may require guidance and further explanation for younger readers.
What kind of supplies do I need to get started?
Each art creation/creative prompt related product includes a simple materials list, using affordable, easy-to-find supplies. Most activities can be done with just a sketchbook or journal, a pen, and a few optional art tools like watercolor or colored pencils. Use what you have—and build as you go!
3. Are these resources Christian-based?
Yes! My creative resources are deeply rooted in Scripture and inspired by God’s truth, grace, and love. You'll find Bible verses, reflections, and journaling/art prompts that help you connect more deeply with your faith through the process of art-making and studying art history.
4. Are the Scriptures & Sketchbooks resources a Bible study or a devotional?
Think of it more like a creative devotional practice—a blend of scripture, readings that encourage reflection of self and chosen scripture, and art making prompts to help you build your relationship with God and explore your own creativity in a personal and creative way.
5. Can I use your resources with my child, teen, or a small group?
Absolutely! Many adults love using these resources with their children as a way to connect and grow in faith together. They’re also great for small groups, youth ministries, or creative devotion time. (Please see my terms of use regarding sharing or printing for groups.)
6. For the creative devotionals, do I need to complete everything in order or daily?
No pressure here. While the "30 Days of Scriptures & Sketchbooks" is organized into six topics, the material is not accumulative, so jump around if desired. These resources are designed to be flexible. You can create more simplistic, light hearted sketches, or expand the prompts to create a detailed, complete artwork. You can move at your own pace—daily, weekly, or whenever you find time. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s connection.
7. Are your downloads printable? How do I get them?
Yes! All digital products are downloadable PDFs that you can print at home or at a local print shop. After checkout, you’ll receive an email with a download link. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see it within 10 minutes.
8. Can I share these materials with others?
Thank you for asking! Your purchase gives you personal use only. Please don’t distribute copies or use them for group instruction without written permission. If you'd like to use them in a group setting, contact me for group licensing options.
9. Do you offer refunds on digital products?
Due to the nature of instant digital downloads, all sales are final. But if you ever have an issue with your purchase, please reach out—I want to make sure you’re supported and satisfied.
